We had 13 participants in Stower's house and two rented condos.  We birded every day and were able to record 115 species.  We did particularly well with warblers this year compared with the two previous years down there.  The weather was pretty wet and windy for one day but didn't hurt our birding opportunities overall. We collected $270 to donate to the Dauphin Island Sanctuaries. I checked with John and he suggested Sanctuaries not Dauphin Island Foundation.  The Foundation appears to be a chamber of commerce type organization.
